The distinctive throaty roar as 007 revs up the Mach 1 to leap over parked cars gives a clue to the massive 7-litre Ford engine beneath the bonnet. Thanks to the Mustang's specially stiffened suspension, bond even flips the muscle car on to two wheels to slip through an alley- and lands safely at the other end.
