Matchbox Models of Yesteryear ~ Preston Type Tram

This tramcar is one of over 3000 supplied to nearly 50 municipal and company tramway operators in the UK, by Dick Kerr, later the United Electric Car Company of Preston.
The basic design appeared in 1900 and with variations in the stair position and type of truck being produced up to 1920.
